Saturday 23rd July 2005 - Outbound journey
We flew from Heathrow to LAX on a great big Air New Zealand 747. The flight
was delayed by almost 3 hours. Almost everyone on the flight except us belonged
to one of several school sporting tours, taking in New Zealand and Fiji. We
got to LAX at about 9 p.m. local time (5 a.m. for us) and picked up a very impressive
Ford Explorer from Avis. Martin drove from the airport to Hollywood where we
arrived at our hotel at about 11pm local time. All very Tired!
