Monday 21st August 2006 - Home


We left the campsite in Paris and travelled to Gare du Nord where we had breakfast. Martin found out details of next train(s) to Calais. We needed reservations (as usual) and Martin then queued at the wrong ticket counter for 30 mins! And queued another 25 at the right one. Eventually we caught 12.22 to Calais via Hazebrouck.

At Calais, we made enquiries about whether we could catch a ferry today, given our booking was for the next day. We were told that we could, and as we had nothing special we wanted to do in Calais, we caught the next ferry back to Dover and got home for about 8pm.
