On Monday we drove into the city of Victoria, about 20km from the park. Victoria is described in our guide book as being one of the best cities to live in on the planet... or something.... but does then go on to say that it's the americans that like its "fake victoriana". Either way, we thought it was hugely unimpressive and looked rather like a moderately drab British town. The suburbs did look nice though, it has to be said.
Bekky and Marina went shopping and Jack and Martin.... went shopping seperately and, naturally, took far less time over it!
After shopping, we drove up the coast and ended up in a small town called Mill Bay where we used the internet facilities of the public library and had some lunch.
We finished the day relaxing at our camp, playing games and getting sorted out for departing tomorrow.
