Canada : Sunday 19th August 2007 - Vancouver Island : Goldstream Provincial Park

We said goodbye to the sea-lions and drove back to the east coast of the island, a 300km trip that took over 3 hours. We stopped an hour away from our destination for lunch at a roadside diner. Apart from that, it was an uneventful day, saved only by listening to our collection of CDs in the car.

The campsite at Goldstream PP was really very nice though. Set in an old "original growth" forest with huge red cedars.

It's goodbye to the sea-lions.
And hello to Goldstream Provincial Park 20km from Victoria.
What a nice, leafy campground.
