Bangalore, India : Saturday 1st March

Saturday was a tourism day, Martin visiting all the key, recommended places in Bangalore, all of which were pretty close to the hotel. But first stop was Sandra's old neighbourhood again and this time, the church she'd been christened in, the school her father had taught at and the site of the family home were all located and photographed.

After that, a whistle stop tour was made of the Karnataka High Court building (Karnataka is the state which Bangalore is in), Vidhana Sabha (state parliament building), Bangalore Palace, Cubban Park, Bull Temple and the lovely Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens.

Ate lots more Indian food in the evening and watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
