Australia - 8th October 2005 - Weekend in Melbourne visiting Wayne

Melbourne

Took a trip down (and across!) to Melbourne to visit my old buddy Wayne Meecham and his wife Shelley (and their very very young daughter Kaia). The trip to Melbourne is nearly 700km from Canberra and took 7 and a half hours to drive on the Friday night straight after work in the company car, a super powerful, 3 litre 4WD Subaru Outback.

On the Saturday (after a late Friday night!), we wandered around various parts of th city centre and then went to a completely different neighbourhood, near the beach, at St Kilda for lunch.
